Q: What is the Check-in and Check-out time?
A: Check-in is available from 15:00 hrs. onwards, and check-out is required by 11:00 hrs.

Q: Is it possible to check in earlier?

A: No, HOP INN Japan generally does not offer early check-in. If you wish to use your room upon arrival, we recommend making a reservation for the night before.
Please note that early check-in may be available as part of special plans, but we are unable to provide details on availability.

 

Q: Is late check-out available?

A: Yes, HOP INN Japan offers late check-out.
Extension fee: 1,000 JPY per hour (tax included) | Maximum extension: Until 13:00
*Please note that late check-out may not be available depending on room availability.

 

Q: Where are HOP INN Japan hotels located?
A: As of October 1, 2025, HOP INN Japan has 4 hotels in more than 2 prefectures nationwide. Please refer to the HOP INN list for details.

 

Q: Can I leave my luggage?
A: Yes, you can leave your luggage at the lobby on the day of check-in and check-out. *Please manage your valuables yourself.

 

Q: Can I send parcels from the hotel?
A: HOP INN Japan does not provide parcel delivery services. We kindly ask that guests use a courier service or convenience store themselves, either by dropping off the parcel or arranging a pickup.

 

Q: Do you offer airport shuttle services?
A: We apologize for the inconvenience. HOP INN Japan does not offer airport shuttle services.

 

Q: Do you offer smoking rooms?
A: No, all rooms are non-smoking. Please use the outdoor smoking areas at the hotels.
*HOP INN Tokyo Iidabashi and HOP INN Tokyo Ueno are entirely non-smoking buildings and have no smoking areas.
*If smoking occurs in a room, a cleaning fee of 20,000 JPY will be charged.

 

Q: Do you have a private bathroom?
A: All HOP INN Japan guest rooms have private bathrooms.
*At HOP INN Tokyo Ueno, the Semi-Double Room has a shower booth only.

 

Q: Are pets allowed in the hotel?
A: We’re sorry, pets are not allowed at HOP INN Japan.

 

Q: Can the hotel issue a tax invoice?
A: Yes, a full tax invoice can be issued. Please provide the required information for the invoice at the front desk during check-in.

 

Q: Do you offer breakfast?
A: Only at HOP INN Kyoto Shijo Omiya, we offer a buffet-style light breakfast. Breakfast hours: 7:00–10:00 (last order 9:30)
At all other hotels, free hot drinks are available in the lobby.

Q: How do I book a room?
A: You can book a room at HOP INN Japan through the Website: www.hopinnhotel.com and select “Booking” from the menu bar.

 

Q: How many people can stay in one room?
A: This varies depending on the hotel and room type. Please refer to the room details or the Terms and Conditions of Accommodation for HOP INN Japan for more information.

 

Q: Is check-in available 24 hours?
A: All HOP INN Japan hotels offer 24-hour check-in. However, if you plan to check in after midnight, please contact the front desk in advance.

 

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
A: Payment can be made at the front desk upon check-in, either in cash or via cashless payment.
The following payment methods are available:

  • Credit/Debit/Prepaid Cards: JCB, VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay, American Express, Diners Club International, DISCOVER
  • E-Money: iD, Rakuten Edy, Waon, nanaco, Quick Pay, PiTaPa

Q: Does the hotel accept walk-ins?
A: Yes, HOP INN Japan accepts walk-in guests. However, this is subject to room availability on the day. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee a room on that day.

 

Q: Do you offer monthly rates?
A: We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, HOP INN Japan does not offer monthly or weekly rates.

 

Q: Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?
A: A credit card is generally not required to make a reservation. Payment is made at the front desk upon check-in. *Some plans may require a credit card at the time of booking.

 

Q: Can I cancel or modify my booking?
A: It depends on the plan you booked. Details are as follows:

  • Best Flexible Rate: Changes or cancellations made up to 2 days before check-in are free of charge.
  • Hot Deal – Non Refund: Full payment is required at the time of booking. If you cancel or change your reservation, the amount already paid is non-refundable. The full stay will be charged, and no refunds are provided in case of a no-show.

Q: Does HOP INN Japan have elevators?
A: Yes, all HOP INN Thailand hotels are equipped with elevators for guest convenience.

 

Q: Does the hotel have parking?
A: We’re sorry, HOP INN Japan does not have parking facilities.
*There are no affiliated or free parking spaces. Guests arriving by car are advised to use the nearby paid parking lots.

 

Q: Can I park a motorcycle?
A: We’re sorry, HOP INN Japan does not have parking facilities.
* There are no affiliated or free parking spaces. Guests arriving by motorcycle are advised to use nearby paid parking lots.

 

Q: Do you offer EV charging services?
A: We’re sorry, HOP INN Japan does not provide EV charging services.

Q: Does HOP INN have Wi-Fi?
A: Yes, HOP INN Japan provides high-speed Wi-Fi in all guestrooms.

 

Q: Do HOP INN hotels provide hair dryers?
A: Yes, all guest rooms are equipped with a hairdryer.

 

Q: Do HOP INN hotels provide towels?
A: Yes, all HOP INN Japan guest rooms include towels.

 

Q: Can I request an extra pillow?
A: Yes, HOP INN Japan can provide additional pillows upon request. Please note that quantities are limited and availability is not guaranteed.

 

Q: What amenities are provided in the rooms?
A: HOP INN Japan provides an amenity bar in the lobby. Guests may take only what they need.
Examples of available amenities: cotton swabs, cotton pads, hair ties, hairbrush, shower cap, body towel, razor, toothbrush set, bath salts, pajama.

 

Q: What hot drinks are available in the lobby?
A: HOP INN Japan offers free hot drinks in the lobby. Main options include hot black coffee and tea.

 

Q: Is the hotel safe and secure?
A: Yes, HOP INN Japan hotels ensure guest safety through card-key access control, 24-hour CCTV monitoring, and locked entrances at night.

 

Q: Are there wheelchair-accessible rooms?

A: Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available only at Hop Inn Kyoto Shijo Omiya.
The room type is a Twin room.
If you would like to stay in the wheelchair-accessible Twin room, please contact the front desk of Hop Inn Kyoto Shijo Omiya in advance.

Q: Are connecting rooms available at HOP INN Japan?

A: Connecting rooms are available only at Hop Inn Tokyo Asakusa, and only for the following room combinations. If you would like a connecting room, please contact the front desk of Hop Inn Tokyo Asakusa in advance.

  • Double Room & Double Room
  • Bunk Bed Room & Double Room
  • Tatami Twin Room & Tatami Twin Room

*Requests cannot be accommodated without prior notice.

Q: Does the hotel have a public bath? What are the opening hours?

A: Hop Inn Kyoto Shijo Omiya has one public bath each for men and women.

The opening hours are 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (last entry 11:30 PM).

Please stop by the front desk to receive a key before using the bath.

Q: What are the cancellation policies for HOP INN Japan reservations? Will I receive a refund if I cancel?

A: Cancellation policies depend on the plan you booked. Details are as follows:
Best Flexible Rate Plan:

  • Up to 2 days before the check-in date: No cancellation fee
  • 1 day before the check-in date: 50% of the accommodation fee
  • On the day of check-in or in case of a no-show: 100% of the accommodation fee

Note: For reservations of 8 rooms or more, cancellations on the day before, the day of check-in, or no-shows will be charged 100%, and cancellations 2 days prior will be charged 50%.

Hot Deal – Non Refund Plan:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations or changes are not allowed, and no refunds will be provided.
  • The full amount for all nights will be charged, including in case of a no-show.

 

Q: What is the reservation guarantee policy at HOP INN Japan?
A: No credit card guarantee is required. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card at check-in.

 

Q: What is the minimum age to check in at the hotel?
A: Guests must be 18 years or older to check in. Guests under 18 must submit the Parental Consent Form for Hotel Stay of Minors for HOP INN Japan Form.

 

Q: What is the hotel’s policy regarding children?

Q: What are the conditions for changing your check-in date?
A: Only the Best Flexible Rate allows changes or cancellations without a fee up to 2 days before check-in. Changes or cancellations after that are subject to fees according to the policy.

 

Q: What are the conditions for children staying?
A:

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, or the Minor Guest Consent Form must be submitted.
  • Extra beds are not provided.

Q: What is HOP REWARD?
A: HOP REWARD is HOP INN’s loyalty program, allowing guests to earn points from their stays and redeem them for discounts on rooms or other special benefits.

 

Q: What can HOP INN points be redeemed for?
A: HOP REWARD points can be redeemed for discounts on rooms at HOP INN hotels and for premium items (Available only in Thailand). Guests can log in to their member account to easily redeem HOP INN privileges.

 

Q: Are there any membership programs or benefits?
A: Yes, the HOP REWARD program offers exclusive privileges for members:

  • Easy sign-up via the HOP REWARD website or the HOP REWARD signup menu on LINE OA.
  • Instant access to HOP REWARD benefits and the ability to earn points.
  • Earn and redeem points for discounts on room rates or special premium items by logging in to your member account.
